Jerky Stew recipe

Ingredients:

1 lb of beef jerky.
1 cup of whole dried hominy, soaked overnight in water.
1 large onion.
1 lb of potatoes.
Salt and pepper, to taste.

Preparation:

Peel and chop the onion. Peel and dice the Potatoes.

Break the jerky up into 1-inch pieces and place in a large pot.

Drain the hominy and place in the pan with the jerky. Add the onion.

Cover with water and bring to the boil. Simmer for about 2 hours or until the hominy is tender.

Once the hominy is cooked, add the potatoes and cook for a further 20 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.
